England #1

(I plan on uploading a lot of pictures to do most of the story telling, so it will probably take several posts.)

Here is a picture out of the plane window during our flight to London.

An aerial view of London. Daniel was chatting with the bride's father, Andrew, about how when we looked down at Illinois through the plane window everything was all in straight lines and very orderly. Then when we flew over England, everything was, as Andrew put it, "higgledy-piggledy." :)

The narrow roads we drove on. I should actually say rode on as we got chauffeured everywhere by very kind people while in Aylesbury. I wasn't going to trust myself driving on the wrong side of the road!

A picture overlooking Aylesbury, the vale town we stayed in for 4 nights.

Our hotel, The Holiday Inn, in Aylesbury. We wanted to stay at a Bed and Breakfast to really experience England, but they were all booked up. Maybe next time!

More to come later!
